SPAGHETTI SAUCE / RED SAUCE
1 1/2 ONION 1 8oz. CAN TOMATO SAUCE
4TBSP EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL 2 6oz. CANS TOMATO PASTE
2TBSP GARLIC PURAEE 1 30oz. CAN WHOLE TOMATO
2TBSP DRY BASIL & ORENGANO 1 30oz. CAN CRUSHED
1/2CUP RED WINE OR SHERRY WINE 1 30oz. CAN CHOPPED
SALT / PEPPER / SUGAR / CRUSHED RED PEPPERS
Heat the oil in pot, add onion, garlic, basil, oregano, salt & pepper. Let ingredients almost liquefy together. Add the tomato sauce & wine then let warm. Meanwhile chop up the whole tomatoes. Add tomato paste 2-1 ratio (every 1 can of paste add 2 cans of water)mix together. Next add sugar, not to much, and rest of ingredients. Mix all together, heat up, then try. Add salt, pepper, sugar, and crushed red pepper to taste. I like to let simmer for 20 mins.
